"C.J." is a grey, registered Tennessee Walking
Horse, gelding, foaled on 10/1/2007. This sweet guy will top out at 15.1
hh approximately. C.J. was foaled raised and trained here by us on the
farm. He is by our direct Coin's Hard Cash sire, Cash Item, and out of a
Pusher's Doing Time dam, Midnight's Shinning Gold. You can view the sire
and dam on our website. The sire is still standing on our farm but the
dam has since been sold. C.J. has been started under saddle since Fall
2009. He is coming along nicely and is a great mount for just about
anyone. He is super gentle and an easy horse to ride and handle. He
clips, bathes, stands for the ferrier, tacks, mounts/dismounts, and
travels with ease. He is a fantastic riding horse with a true four beat
gait. The horse gaits up and down hills and never gets loose or sloppy
in any gear, he is a total natural. He has been on trail rides just
about everywhere in our surrounding area and he has been ridden a ton
since he was started under saddle. C.J. will be a good fit for a novice
to an experienced rider as he is easy to control yet will give you what
you want when you want it when it comes to riding on the trails. He has
a heart the size of all outdoors and will go, go, go! C.J. has
experience riding in groups, pairs and alone and does so effortlessly.
He rides with two dogs on the trails (as do all of our horses) and
doesn't mind the constant "spooking" of the dogs popping in and out of
the woods along the trails. C.J. is very confident and when he
encounters something new he simply plants his feet and pricks his ears.
He never jumps to the side or has wheeled around when confronted with
something new or scary on the trails. He is ridden in a low port
Tennessee Walking Horse bit and he single reins.
