There are black horses and there are black horses
with style! Don't let the coat fool ya, Diablo, as we lovingly call this
guy, has more style than any of our palominos and buckskins! Diablo is a
true mover and shaker and can stomp a hole in the ground! Diablo is by
an amber champagne stallion, Joker's Spirit and out of our very own,
Ultra Mary, a direct Pride's Ultra Threat mare. Diablo is a black,
registered, gelding, foaled on 4/28/2008. He was born, raised, and
trained right here by us. He got his nickname by being the "baddest"
horse in the herd, even when he was a little foal he ruled the roost
amongst his pasture mates. He is not aggressive at all, just assertive
and all it takes is a pinning of the ears the herd parts like the Red
Sea. Diablo has been started under saddle since January of 2010. He will
likely top out at 15.2hh. He is a muscular colt with energy to spare,
but is easily controlled and minds his manners. He does all the things a
Stonewall Horse Farm horse is supposed to, he clips, bathes, loads,
travels, mounts/dismounts, and rides without a problem. He rides in a
TWH bit (any port size will do) and single reins. He has been on many
many trail rides and has lots of hours of experience. He has been
exposed to cars, lawn mowers, tractors, creeks, hills, rocky areas,
dogs, turkeys, deer, etc. He has a true four beat gait, and long
striding backend. He is not spooky at all and rides in groups or alone
on the trails. Diablo is offered for sale for $1500. Additional photos
